(D) Passive Construction
Form : Sub + am/is/are + being + past participle + object
- She is reading a book. ( active)
- A book is being read by her. (passive)
- They are singing a weeding song.(active)
- Awedding song is being sung by them.( Passive)
(E) Difference between Simple Present and Continuous Tense
(a) 1. Simple Present tense --------- Permanent action.
2. Present Continuous Tense--- Temporary action.
Examples :
- They live in a rented house. ( Permanent Action)
- They are living in a rented house. ( Temporary Action)
